3-POINT PIZZA POCKETS

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (12oz) Package Klement's Mild Ground Italian Sausage
  • 2 Cans of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 Can of marinara sauce
  • Bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 Stick of butter
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Bag of shredded parmesan cheese
  • Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. of Salt & Pepper

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut biscuits into two halves and press each half into a round, flattened circle.
  3. Brown Italian sausage in a skillet on stove top.
  4. Place a small amount of marinara sauce, a spoonful of Italian sausage, and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on a biscuit.
  5. Lift the edges of the biscuit to surround the contents and add a second flattened circle of dough to the top and enclose without gaps.
  6. Spray baking pan with cooking pray to grease. Lay the pizza pockets across the pan evenly.
  7. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and brush mixture onto each pizza pocket. Top with shredded parmesan and parsley.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are slightly browned on top. Serve warm with marinara sauce and enjoy!
