POLISH REUBEN SANDWICH

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 14oz package of Klement's Uncured Polish Sausage
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 6 Slices rye bread
  • 3 Slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (8oz) Can sauerkraut
  • Thousand Island dressing

Steps

  1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
  2. Place butterflied Klement's Founder's Select Polish Sausage in skillet. Remove once browned on both sides.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Once melted put rye bread in skillet with Thousand Island dressing on slices.
  4. Place desired sauerkraut on top of the bread and Thousand Island dressing.
  5. Place butterflied Klement's Polish Sausage on top of the sauerkraut.
  6. Place 1 slice of swiss cheese of top of the sausage.
  7. Lastly, place another slice of rye bread, spread with remaining butter on the outside of the sandwiches.
  8. Flip sandwich until both sides are browned.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
