POLISH REUBEN SANDWICH
Ingredients
- 1 14oz package of Klement's Uncured Polish Sausage
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 6 Slices rye bread
- 3 Slices Swiss cheese
- 1 (8oz) Can sauerkraut
- Thousand Island dressing
Steps
- Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
- Place butterflied Klement's Founder's Select Polish Sausage in skillet. Remove once browned on both sides.
- Place 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Once melted put rye bread in skillet with Thousand Island dressing on slices.
- Place desired sauerkraut on top of the bread and Thousand Island dressing.
- Place butterflied Klement's Polish Sausage on top of the sauerkraut.
- Place 1 slice of swiss cheese of top of the sausage.
- Lastly, place another slice of rye bread, spread with remaining butter on the outside of the sandwiches.
- Flip sandwich until both sides are browned.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
