LOADED ITALIAN SAUSAGE PIZZA

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) Package of Klement's Italian Sausage, coin cut
  • 1 Pizza crust
  • 1 Cup marinara sauce
  • 1 Tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tomato, diced
  • 2 Tbsp chopped basil

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Heat skillet to medium heat and brown Italian sausage slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Lay the pizza crust out on a baking sheet or a pizza stone. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the crust, leaving 1/2 inch around the edge.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed red pepper flakes over the sauce and add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Place the Italian sausage evenly around the pizza. We chose to make a pumpkin shape!
  6. Add the diced tomatoes and top with chopped basil.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow pizza to cool for 2 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
