German Bratchos

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of your favorite Kettle-cooked potato chips (if you're ambitious, you can make your own, too)
  • 1-14oz package of Klement's Traditional Bratwurst - sliced into 1/4 thick coins
  • 1 - 15oz can of white queso sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 2 fresh jalapenos sliced - or 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos from a jar

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. In a frying pan brown the sliced bratwurst on both sides until warm
  3. Pour the white queso sauce into a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 45 seconds until pourable
  4. Spread kettle chips evenly onto an oven-safe platter or large plate
  5. Pour the white cheese sauce onto the chips making sure each chip has some cheese on it
  6. Top with the sliced bratwurst dispersing evenly
  7. Sprinkle scallions, tomatoes and jalapenos on top
  8. Place in oven and cook for 15 minutes or until cheese starts to bubble.
  9. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

  1. For an extra German touch, add some sauerkraut too!
