FLAMIN’ FLATBREAD

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) Package of Klement’s Cooked & Smoked Traditional Bratwurst - coin cut, then cut into quarters
  • 1 Flatbread
  • 3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • 1/8 Cup sliced red onion
  • 8 Leaves of fresh basil
  • 1 Cup shredded asiago cheese

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Or prepare your grill for medium direct grilling.
  2. Brush olive oil on both sides of flatbread.
  3. Place the flatbread in the oven and heat both sides for 2 minutes. Or grill over direct heat for about 2 minutes per side until crispy. Remove from oven or grill.
  4. In layers, add minced garlic, 1/2 of the cheese, onion slices, sliced tomatoes, basil leaves, bratwurst and the second 1/2 of the cheese.
  5. Place the flatbread back in the oven and cook for 10 min. Or grill until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve with a can of beer and enjoy!
