Cheesy Garlic Sausage Balls

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lb pkg Klement's mild Italian fresh ground sausage (raw)
- 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese - softened
- 1.25 cups sharp cheddar cheese - shredded (sub your favorite shred blend if you wish)
Steps
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
- Put Bisquick mix into bowl and add all listed spices - mix until spices are blended in
- Add in raw Italian sausage, softened cream cheese and shredded cheese
- Using your hands, mix until everything is well incorporated into the sausage
- Shape into 1-inch balls using a small scoop or your hands - (if you prefer to freeze and bake later, pack carefully in a plastic freezer bag)
- Place onto parchment-lined baking sheet
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown
Tips & Tricks
- Use a stand mixer with a dough hook to blend ingredients if you don't wish to use your hands
- If you want a little extra heat - add desired amount of red pepper flakes
- You can prepare the sausage balls and freeze them - when baking from frozen just add a couple of minutes to baking time
