BRAT BISCUITS AND GRAVY BAKE

Ingredients
- 1 14oz. package Klement's Traditional Bratwurst, coin cut and halved
- 2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 Eggs
- 3 1/2 Cups milk (28 oz)
- 2 (16oz) Can of biscuit dough
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 Cup all purpose flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray a 9 x 13 pan and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until slightly browned with some olive oil. Add butter and stir until melted.
- Add flour to coat sausage and stir for 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of milk and continue to stir over medium heat until gravy thickens, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- While gravy is cooking, cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and line the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle biscuit dough with half the cheddar cheese.
- Whisk eggs and 1/2 cup milk with desired salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the biscuits and cheese.
- Once gravy has thickened, pour the mixture over the casserole. Sprinkle the other half of the cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
