ITALIAN SAUSAGE LASAGNA

 
 

Ingredients

  • 2 (14oz) Package of Klement's Italian Sauasage
  • 16 oz cottage cheese
  • (16oz) ricotta cheese
  • 5 Tbsp grated parmesan
  • 2 Tbsp oregano
  • 2 Tsp granulted roasted garlic
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 24oz pasta sauce of your liking - we used marinara
  • 1 pkg shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cottage cheese & grated parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, garlic and oregano
  2. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and rinse noodles with cold water.
  3. Cook the Italian sausage in a skillet until browned
  4. Place 4 noodles in bottom of pan
  5. Place small spoonfuls of cheese mixture onto noodles, followed by sausage and pasta sauce (add in a layer of mozzarella cheese for extra cheesiness) - repeat layering two more times
  6. Top with remaining ingredients and mozzarella & parmesan cheeses
  7. Warm in oven at 350 degrees for 45 min and enjoy!
