SMOKIN’ JALAPEÑOS

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) Package of Klement's Cocktail Smokies
  • 10 Jalapeño peppers
  • 1 (8oz) Package of cream cheese
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 10 Slices Bacon, raw, cut in half
  • 1/4 Cup Green Onion, diced

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice jalapeños lengthwise. Remove seeds and ribs. Use plastic gloves if desired.
  3. Place the jalapeño halves on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and green onion.
  5. Fill the jalapeño halves with the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Place one cocktail smokie on each of the cheese-filled jalapeños.
  7. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño tightly with a piece of bacon. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed.
  8. Place cut side up on foil-lined tray and bake until the bacon is browned and crispy, about 30 minutes.
  9. Serve warm. Enjoy!
