ITALIAN PASTA BAKE
Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) Package of Klement's Italian Sausage
- 1 Large onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Each red & green bell peppers, cubed
- 1 (14oz) Can diced tomatoes, or pasta style tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (6oz) Can tomato paste
- 1 (8oz) Package of mostaccioli pasta, cooked
- 1/4 Cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 Cups Italian shredded cheese
Steps
- Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish and pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cut Klement's Italian sausage into ½ inch pieces. Cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides. Pour off drippings.
- Add onion, garlic and bell peppers; cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add tomatoes and tomato paste; mix well. Stir in pasta and basil.
- Bake mixture, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Uncover; sprinkle cheese over casserole. Continue to bake 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
