Cheesy Sausage & Egg Casserole

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) package of Klement's White Cheddar Bratwurst
  • 1 loaf Italian Bakery-Style Bread
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
  • 8 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk

Steps

  1. Slice sausage into 1/2 inch coins
  2. Slice Italian bread into 1-inch slices and remove crust
  3. Grease 9x13 baking dish and arrange bread to cover bottom of pan
  4. Spread sausage evenly over bread
  5. Sprinkle cheeses evenly over bread & sausage
  6. In a separate bowl, beat eggs & milk together
  7. Pour egg & milk mixture evenly over ingredients in pan
  8. Allow contents to sit overnight in fridge - covered
  9. When ready to serve, preheat oven to 350 degrees and remove cover
  10. Bake for about 42 minutes or until utensil comes out clean after poking center.

Give it a kick

  1. Add roasted garlic and dried red pepper flakes to your egg & milk mixture before pouring into pan
